HI, I am trying to run standalone P6 on my win xp machine. i have installed Oracle 9i, created a database. i have also installed p6 successfully but whenever i want to run p6- project management ,odule , it will prompt me to run database configuration i have filled the database Alias as PMDB and chosen my driver type as ORACLE, , Chose the created database as teh oracle connection name, when i put the Username as Pubuser and password as pubuser and Public Group id as 1. AND CLICK NEXT .. IT WILL GIVE ME ERROR MESSAGE ... "BAD PUBLIC USERNAME OR PASSWORD. DATABASE SERVER ERROR:ORA01017: INVALID USERNAME/PASSWORD; LOGIN DENIED; can someone assist please... i need to resolve this fast to get this job

The Oracle database login you have provided is not right. When a database is created by the Primavera database creation utility, there are three users created - "ADMUSER","PRIVUSER" and "PUBUSER". All with the same password as their names. Q1. Did you create the Primavera database properly using the Oracle database creation utility? Barrie http://www.kinleyconsulting.com
