Hi,

With Primavera 6, is there any way to increase the default number of databases shown.

The attached Word document may help to understand exactly what I mean.

Before Logging in, clicking on the elipsis (arrowed) on screenshot 1, brings up screenshot 2. I would like to have the ability to see another couple of databases in this second list.

Adding them is straight forwards enough, but trying to keep any new additions in this list seem impossible.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Stuart

Stuart,

You should be able to get many databases in the list.

The list of databases is stored in an ini file on the hard drive. It sounds like there is a script ran when you login to the Windows account or every time you start Primavera that reverts the list back to a known default.

A script would be ran if you connect using Citrix. You should ask the system administrators if scripts are being ran. If you can justify having the extra databases they should include them in the scripts.

 Hi Stuart,

Just seen one of your earlier posts about error messages.  It sounds like you are running Citrix so the script that is ran when you login to Citrix is overwriting the list of databases.  I also see you work in IT so you shouldn't have a problem finding out how to get your extra databases in there.

Good luck.

Thanks for your help. I had suspected that it was in an ini file but didn't have access to the Citrix server to find out 100% if this was the case. I'll keep trying
