I am using P6. Whenever i copy projects, the filters get blank in the new project.

I have tried and searched everywhere, but couldn't found a solution.

All the filters are in baseline project and I need to update this program every month. Not only, user-defined filters, but also global filters assigned for this project are becoming blank. Please let me know, where I am going wrong?

not sure if I got your problem right. do you refer to some indicator or other type of UDF used as filtering criteria that loose their values, which makes filtering impossible or the filter itself. what kind of filter is it ? Activity, Projects,..other?

filters (and other ways of organising info such as grouping and sorting) are not project data and are not saved or copied with a project or baseline.

they are saved with a layout. Go to View/ Layout or look for "Layout: <>" at he top of the main Primavera interface windows: Activities, WBS, Projects, Resource Assignments and Tracking Layouts in the Directory (right vertical bar).
You can customise views (including filter information) for less important windows and panes (click "Display: ..." or right-click and select Filter by... in the context menu) but you cannot save and reload, secure based on user privileges and share with other users, import/export those views as you can in the case of layouts.
