Hello. I have been readings the topics for a while and finally decided to register. So this i my first message. Until now, I have been working with P3.1, but decided to upgrade to P6. Therefore I am a new P6 user for a month. My current project contains 1500 activities. And I'm planning the enter actuals in a monthly basis. Anyway, my problem is that: project management require me to study on different scenarios. What is the best way to do that. I'm not feeling safe when I create separate projects for each scenario. Is it enough to place them in separate EPS nodes, or separate portfolios?

Ok, I have discovered the reflection project feature and begin to experimenting with it. But now I have a different question. Is it possible to define subproject as in P3 or not?

I have not used P3, so I am not familiar with sub-projects in that sense, but you are going about it the right way. Alternately, instead of creating a reflection project, you could just copy-paste the project and classify it as a what-if and play around with it.

Reflection pretty much does the same thing, except it has one added feature, you can merge changes back into the original schedule which you cannot do with the alternative I proposed.

Cheers
